Even when authentication is done via SAML/SSO, the user must still be created in CyberVision.

Why this is mandatory

SAML authenticates identity, but CyberVision still requires a local user record to:

• assign role/permissions,
• define company/scope,
• apply access policies,
• audit actions and logins.

Required process

1. Create the user in CyberVision (Users/Profile module).

2. Set the correct role and company scope.

3. Ensure the SAML identity (email/username) matches the CyberVision user.

4. Validate first login through SAML.

Expected result

• User authenticates via SAML.
• User receives the correct authorization in CyberVision based on local role/scope.
• Actions are fully traceable in audit logs.
